四、教学过程
(I) Lead in (5 minutes)
1. Show a picture of Confucius and ask the students: " Do you know who this
person is?"Guide the students to answer" Confucius ".
2. Confucius: "Confucius was a very famous thinker and teacher in Chinese history.
Today, let's learn more about him and explore the topic of teachers."
(2) Before reading (5 minutes)
1. Present the reading strategy "Making connections" to explain its meaning:
"When we read, we can make connections between what we read and what we already
know. This can help us understand the text better and remember it well."
2. Give an example: "For example, when I read about a dog, I can think of my own
pet dog at home. That's making a connection."
(3) Reading
First reading (8 minutes)
1. Students should read the text of Activity 1 quickly to understand the main
content.
2. Fill in the blanks are completed: What I read: Confucius is a great thinker.

teach people how to look at the world.
