四、教学过程
(I) Lead in(5 minutes)
1. Show some beautiful pictures of natural scenery, such as mountains, plateau,
deserts, forests, etc., and guide the students to describe these pictures in English, so as to
lead to the theme of this unit —— Natural environment.
2. Ask the students: " What do you know about different natural
environments?"Encourage students to share their ideas and experiences.
(II) Review the vocabulary (5 minutes)
1. Show the word cards related to the natural environment, such as highland, cow,
stone, earth, etc., and let the students quickly say the meaning of the words.
2. Conduct a word spelling contest, divide the students into groups, and each group
sends a representative to spell the words on the blackboard. The group with the most
correct spelling wins.
(III) Listening exercises (Activity 1) (5 minutes)
1. Play the listening materials, let the students listen carefully and fill in the blanks
according to what they have heard.
It's very cold and windy here. There is a lot of stones on the highland.
There are many cows and sheep here. The earth is yellow, and it is very dry.
2. Play the listening material again, and let the students check the answers.
3. Ask students in groups to talk about more descriptive words and sentences.
(IV) Picture description (Activity 2) (5 minutes)
1. Show the pictures, and let the students observe and complete the sentences.
